Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business has established a partnership with the Faculty of Economics-Skopje at Saints Cyril and Methodius University (UKIM) in North Macedonia to define best practices and standards for the new Strategic Human Resource Management Studies (SHRM) M.B.A.

This cooperation is financially supported by the US Embassy in North Macedonia and is a result of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed by the University of St. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje and Indiana University. In order to strengthen the capabilities of the Faculty of Economics – Skopje, the first step will be to establish a two-cycle MBA program in strategic HRM.

Through this partnership, Kelley School of Business professors and faculty members at the Faculty of Economics-Skopje have joint and intensive collaboration with the goal of developing a new postgraduate MBA program in Strategic Human Resource Management with modern, state-of-the-art curricula.

This teaching process in the MBA of SHRM is intended to create a more engaging and exciting experience for students, one that differs significantly from the classic lectures that most students are accustomed to. Among the teaching methods are prerecorded videos by the professors, flipped classroom sessions, case studies – some developed with our successful companies for the program, solving specific practical problems presented by renowned guest lecturers, i.e. a student-centered approach to teaching. In addition to enriching trainees’ theoretical perspectives, the main focus is on building skills that will be useful at work.
