Upon completion of course instruction and successful passing of the examination, students should be able to be:

•  Familiar with the fundamental concepts of computing – capable of using microcomputers as a means to increase productivity and efficiency in operation by collecting, processing and using information
•  Able to understand the organizational structure of accounting information systems
•  Able to understand the process of analyzing and designing accounting information systems
•  Able to control and protect accounting information systems and data
