Course objectives (competencies): Upon completion of teaching and passing this course, students should be able to:

  • Understand the general laws of governance as a universal phenomenon;
  • Understand the usefulness of the application of the systemic approach and system dynamics in the treatment of practical economic problems;
  • Use information feedback circuits in the preparation and decision-making processes;
  • Link knowledge from interdisciplinary areas in modeling economic processes;
  • Gain knowledge about the importance of system analysis in the design of economic systems;
  • Have a creative relationship in the systemic treatment of short-term and long-term economic phenomena at the micro and macro level.

Course content: Treating governance as a universal phenomenon provides an opportunity to analyze the regularities of growth and development of economic systems. The theoretical and methodological foundations of this analysis provide knowledge of the functioning of systems as dynamic, complex and adaptive systems in changing environments, knowledge of decision-making processes based on information feedback circuits and knowledge of designing and modeling economic processes at micro and macro level.
