Course objectives (competences):

After completing the course students should be able to:

·         Understand the conceptual meaning of data science and business analytics;

·         Gain basic knowledge of methods, models and techniques to support business data analytics in organizations;

·         Gain basic knowledge of various applications and tools to support business data analytics in organizations;

·         Acquire basic knowledge and skills needed to identify, analyze, control and manage business data with the support of business decision making software tools;

·         Understand the strategic, tactical and operational role of big data analytics

·         Acquire basic knowledge and skills in web analytics,

·         Apply the acquired knowledge.
