Aleksandra Janeska-Iliev studied at the Faculty of Economics in Skopje at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje at the Department of Management from 2002 to 2005. In 2005, after successfully completing the third year of studies, she continued her education at the Fontys University of Professional Education in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, where she graduated in January 2007. She received her Master’s Degree in MBA Management in 2008 from the Faculty of Economics, and completed successfully her PhD dissertation titled “Business Strategies for Small Business Development” at the Faculty of Economics in Skopje at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius. and on 13.2.2015 acquired a PhD in Economics. After graduating, she gained her applied and professional experience in the business sector through various internships and engagements in reputable companies. So for almost five years she was part of a foreign consulting company , which enabled her to further build on competencies and expand her experiences related to the various aspects of business and management.
She has been working as an assistant on a number of subjects in the field of management at the Faculty of Economics in Skopje since 2012. In 2015 she was promoted in an assistant professor of organizational behavior. Her major areas of research interest are related to organizational behavior and small business management, with particular interest in the cognitive aspects of entrepreneurship such as entrepreneurial education, entrepreneurial intentions, entrepreneurial thinking.Aleksandra Janeska-Iliev, PhD has participated in national and international projects and took part in various types of expert meetings. Recently she participatipated in the PDW Understanding the Inclusive Organization session, Getting Down to the Bottom-Up: Researching Ecosystems as if Entrepreneurs Mattered, AOM 2019 presentation and panel discussion with more than 15 relevant experts in the field of entrepreneurial ecosystems.Aleksandra Janeska-Iliev has been mentor of professional papers, diploma thesis and master thesis.
