Nedanovski, Pece Ph.D., obtained his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. at the Faculty of Economics – Skopje. He also holds M.Sc. from the Institute for Advanced Studies in Vienna (Austria). He has been working at the Faculty of Economics-Skopje since 1989. In addition, he teaches at several other faculties within the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (UKIM).

He is an author or/and co-author of several books, studies and textbooks, as well as of more than 100 scientific and professional papers published in domestic and international journals. The main areas of his research interest are the following ones i.e. economic system, economic policy, health economics, environmental economics, regional and local economic development. He has worked on over 40 projects for the needs of a large number of institutions such as UN Development Program (UNDP), World Bank (WB), Commission of the European Union, UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF), World Economic Forum (WEF), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Swedish Agency for International Development (Sida), Regional Environmental Center in Hungary (REC) and Council of Europe.

In the period 2005-2008, he was Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Economics – Skopje, and from 2008-2012 he held the position of Vice-Rector for Finance, Investments and Development of Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (UKIM). Also, in the period 2007-2019, he was an independent member of the Supervisory Board of Universal Investment Bank (UNI Bank) Skopje. Since 2015, he has had an international license for the verification of the Business Friendly Certificate Process for Southeast Europe.

He realized a large number of study stays abroad such as Oxford University (Great Britain), Institute for Advanced Studies, Vienna (Austria), International Center for Environmental Technology Transfer, Yokkaichi, (Japan), Université Stendhal, Grenoble (France), Erasmus University, Rotterdam (Netherlands), Maison des sciences économiques (Institute of Economic Sciences), Paris (France), Leufana University, Lüneburg (Germany), University of Limerick (Ireland), College of Europe, Bruges (Belgium) andCentral European University, Budapest (Hungary).
