Sasho Arsov, Ph.D., CFA was born in Skopje in 1971. He graduated and earned a master’s degree at the Faculty of Economics, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, and defended his Ph.D. thesis at the same institution in 2003. In 2009 he became a CFA chratholder.
He was employed at the Faculty of Economics, Skopje in 1997 as a teaching assistant and became a Full Professor in 2014.
In addition, he was engaged as an adjunct faculty by the Graduate Center for Public Policy and Management “Macedonia”, University of Pittsburgh, USA, programe held in Skopje during the 2005/6 academic year.
During his career he worked on several projects for the World Bank, UNDP, uropean commission and various clients from the private and public sector.
In the period 2008-2015 he was a member of the Council of the Central bank of Macedonia. His study visits abroad include stays at the Bradford Centre for International Development, Bradford, UK, Fontys University in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, University of Reykyavik, Iceland, etc.Research interests: corporate finance, financial markets, international finance, public projects, project management, etc.
