Filip Peovski was born on December 26, 1996 in Skopje. He completed his secondary education at the high school “Josip Broz – Tito” in Skopje, focusing on the social-humanistic area, which establishes the primary foundations for further education in economics.
He completed the undergraduate studies at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Faculty of Economics-Skopje, in 2019 with an average grade of 9.44 at the Department of Financial Management, graduating with the topic “Concentration in the Macedonian banking sector”. Immediately after graduation, he continues his academic upgrade in the second cycle of studies in Monetary Economics, Finances and Banking. By defending his master’s thesis entitled “Implementation of unconventional monetary measures – analysis of the activity of the European Central Bank” in 2020 he completes his postgraduate studies with an average grade of 10.00. He executed practical work at Winner Insurance – Vienna Insurance Group AD Skopje and NLB Banka AD Skopje.
During his postgraduate studies, he was a Teaching Fellow at the Department of Finance. As of January 2021, he was elected as a Teaching and Research Assistant in the field of applied economics at the Chair of Mathematics and Statistics.
His subjects of research interest are macroeconomics with a special focus on monetary economics and the activity of central banks, finance, statistics and econometric modeling of macroeconomic processes.
