Jasna Tonovska is born in Skopje. She completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Economics – Skopje with highest distinction. During her studies, she was awarded
with prizes and scholarships from the Faculty of Economics, Ministry of education and science, as well as from international organizations and companies. She attended numerous study visits and seminars in Austria, USA, Switzerland and France, organized by renowned international organizations and institutions. Currently, she is attending the School of Doctoral Studies at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, at the study program in Economics, preparing her doctoral dissertation about international capital flows.
She has eight years of experience as an analyst in the Monetary Policy and Research Department within the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia, involving participation in the macroeconomic forecasts of the balance of payments, external sector developments analysis and sustainability assessment. Since 2021 she has been working as a teaching assistant in International Economics, within the Department of Foreign Trade.
