Todor Tocev was born on October 4, 1996 in Skopje, where he started and is currently continuing his professional development. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics – Skopje at UKIM in Skopje in 2019 at the Department of Accounting and Auditing. In the same year he was elected as a demonstrator at the Department of Accounting and Auditing, and also an active student in the second cycle of studies Accounting and Auditing at the Faculty of Economics – Skopje.
He received his master’s degree in June 2021, achieving an average grade of 10.00 and successfully defending his master’s thesis on the topic: “Big data and data analytics in modern audit engagements – empirical analysis of the attitude and perception of domestic audit practice.” With the selection of the associate title of Assistant in the scientific field of accounting, on November 26, 2021, he was employed at the Faculty of Economics – Skopje, at UKIM.
In addition to scientific research and educational activities, Todor is engaged as a consultant by the Center of Excellence in Finance (CEF) Slovenia for proofreading and translation of professional literature in the field of management accounting, observer in the implementation of exams organized and conducted by the Institute of certified auditors of the Republic of Macedonia (ICARM) for obtaining the title – certified auditor, and during his studies he has realized several monthly internships in the field of finance, accounting and auditing in the audit company BDO, Stopanska Banka Skopje, Vispak PELA, as well as realized 8-month project for data collection, processing and analysis, organized by the company UNITY from Texas, USA.
